Dalkey Book Festival

I’ve just returned to Barbados from enjoying the amazing Dalkey Book Festival in Ireland!

On Saturday, I had the honour of being on a panel discussion, “Sparks of Everyday Magic”, with authors Jan Carson, Naomi Ishiguro and Dave Rudden. We had a lovely session talking about non-realist fiction and how it matters in today’s world.

I also spent time in Dave’s Worldbuiling workshop and bought plenty books to add to my collection (time to build more bookshelves)!

Being in Ireland makes me want to write—it feels as though the muses are at every corner, inspiring words to flow from your pen or keyboard. A beautiful country!

I am deeply grateful to the Central Bank of Barbados and the Embassy of Barbados in Ireland for making this happen!
